Right now with all that is going on we can only hope for the best.

We can all flatter ourselves as Haitians on keep mentioning how resilient we are of a people and hope for all the best that luck can throw our way... However, the question to ask amidst all this as Carri did above...

For how long until we go right back to our ill ways and mentalities again? Thus indeed with all this, is Haiti moving toward a new path or will it be the very same old one?

Don't want to come of as negative and it's probably very early to say but I have a feeling we are once again on the same old path.
I believe that the same way everyone on Twitter are clamoring "NEW HAITI" that maybe the people in Haiti see that and believe that.

When did the relief effort turned into an ego spree of those occupying the Haitian national-international airport when Haitians are dying of hunger? As several planes with relief aids from other countries are still being turned away by those occupying the Haitian national airports now. Indeed those occupying the Haitian national-international airport allowing only their very own planes into Haiti while turning away other countries' planes.
